Today I got whipped by the captain on my back and it hurt like crazy!! My back was bleeding all over.All my friends had to watch me get whipped.I was so hungry,so I had to have one of those yucky biscuits!!!! After that I had to do my job. My job is the Crows Nest. It is a hard and easy job sometimes! I have scurvy. Every single day I have to cut the rotten,black blood out with a knife. It hurts!! Now its bedtime and it is cold and rainy and I have no blanket. I hate being on this ship!! But I will get used to it!!!!!!!!!
