Dear journal,
lastnight I stole musicl instrument and just then I got caught.My partner was John Pettitt and the value was 50 shillings.I was sentenced to 7 years transportasion to Botany Bay in 1784.I was a shoemaker and my age is 20.I will be sad leaving my family far away and I will miss them.

Dear journal,
Today I am going to be sentence for stealing 1575 shillings.Why couldn't it be somebody else .I have a wife and a daughter.Who is going to look after the my brother and my sister. Why did I leave for a new  job?I know I am going to be hanged and everybody will be staring and laughing.I have disappinted the family honour.I diserve to die after what I did to my master.Why did I do that why.

25th May 1787 Dear Journal,I am sentence for 7 years transportion and I am only 25 years old.I stoled pices of materical for my mum and the value of 4 shilling. I was a servent for the rich people.I live in the streets, with my mum and my duaghter.I have a brother called Thomas Oldflied and my name is Isabella Oldfied. I have  heard from people that in Botnay Bay there is  monsters and wild animals. I don't  want to go to the ships called the Friendship.I felt tlike I was very nervous to go on the ship.

Today is Monday, I really Don't why.A Few week ago my bast friend died because of scurvy. Scurvy reminds me of my punishment ,getting whipped by the  cat-   o '- nine tails.It hunt so much.My captain did it.My captain's name is Captain Toby Hook.First Toby said I could have a hard ship biscuit with rats wee it.My friend is Ster.Today Toby yelled to Ster and said Oyster.Now it's time for sleeping on the deck.

Today,i've just awoken and it seems to be foggy.My "watch" is about to begin.My job today is on "crows nest"so i'm climbing up on hte mast.This is the 17th day on the Endeavour and we still have a lot of food.I just yelled to my captain to tell him that there is a reef up ahead.He turned the wheel around and the ship turned around.Suddenly my best mate Tim jumped off the ship because of an illusion,he must've thought there was land!Ok the "boy" has said it is our break time

30/8/1599 Today is Thursday and we are in the south pacific ocean. For break fast,i had fish,it tasted so salty
that i got sick because it was so bad .Then captain Da Gama told us to get to work. So i claimed to the crows nest. During the day i saw coral .I got my knife and  cut my leg to let the bad blood out.
